After graduating with a degree in architecture from the Technical University of Munich, Christine Nickl-Weller joined the Munich-based architecture team of Nickl & Partner in 1989 and became Chief Executive Officer of the corporation in 2008. In 2004, she was appointed Professor at the Technical University of Berlin and holds the only university chair for the design of hospitals and health care buildings in Germany.

Prof. Hans Nickl studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich. In 1979 he set up his own architecture firm, which he expanded together with his wife Prof. Christine Nickl-Weller in 1989 to form the architecture company Nickl & Partner.
He was appointed Professor for Constructive Design at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences in 1992, and since 2005 has been Visiting Professor in the Department for Design of Hospitals and Healthcare Buil- dings at the Technical University of Berlin.

More than 15 years of experience in architectural practice in the planning and construction of buildings in the health care, research and social housing sectors, as well as urban planning for the private and public sectors. Joined Nickl & Partner Architekten AG in 2003, I have 12 years’ experience as a project manager and team leader specializing in international projects.

Since 2014 I am one of the management board members of Nickl & Partner Architekten Schweiz AG. In April 2015 I took the role as the general manager of Nickl & Partner Architectural Design Consulting Co.,Ltd in Beijing, China. In the same year I became board member of Nickl & Partner Architekten AG.

Clients from health care, research and urban planning fields have entrusted me and my team with the production of plans and construction work in several different countries, such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and the People’s Republic of China.

The representative and current projects include international projects such as Shenzhen No.2 Children’s Hospital, Xi’an International Rehabilitation Center, St. Petersburg Medical Center that is a master planning including residential, Healing Architecture, Research and teaching, Anapa Military Hospital, Fengtian Hospital, Shenyang No.1 Hospital, Shenyang Women and Children Hospital, AlBait Medical Center in Makkah Al-Mukarrama, University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf etc.
