The Academy hosted the MedInnovate Winter Symposium in Munich in January 2018, which is a closure event of the MedInnovate Graduate Program. This program is a five-month workshop for graduate students at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on a needs-driven innovation framework like Stanford Bio design. For the last months, four teams have been working extensively in the areas of Dermatology, Pathology, Traumatology and Vascular Surgery with the goal of identifying unmet clinical needs and creating innovative concepts to solve those.
At the symposium, our teams pitched their identified clinical need as well as their solution concept and startup idea to solve it. In a framework program, we will showcase different factors around MedInnovate and general entrepreneurship in MedTech and free drinks and snacks will be provided in the get together.
